Aid organizations that serve civilians in Gaza say they are receiving record amounts of donations in a sign of public support for relief efforts even as a growing stock of supplies remain stalled at Egypt's Rafah border crossing. In the Gaza Strip, where 2.3 million people live, civilians are in dire need of clean water, food and medicine, emergency medics say. Doctors Without Borders in Gaza said 100% of patients treated on Wednesday were kids. Doctors Without Borders told Insider that, on Wednesday, in fact, 100% of their patients were children. "Everything that was available has been purchased and distributed within the local markets, and it's impossible to get aid from outside," Sosebee told Insider. "When this ends, we can only imagine the amount of effort and attention that needs to go into trying to repair the damages in Gaza," Sosebee told Insider.
